This is one of those posts where the video explains things infinitely better than I can by writing, so I’d highly recommend watching the video accompanying this post. First, credit needs to be given to youtube user Jipptomilly who already made a 200k challenge video, here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEoUKqg6SdA he did a great job. That’s where I got this idea from, and after seeing his video I thought I could improve upon it and build a much more DPS oriented build that would still be amazing for Act 1 and 2.
Search Parameters
Helm, Gloves, Bracers – You want to search for dexterity, all resist, and critical hit chance and set a buyout price for your budget, I used 10-20k here. And then just keep tweaking the numbers until you get a reasonable number of queries. The best items in these slots would also include vitality, and gloves with critical hit damage/attack speed are great too if you can find them at a reasonable price.
Amulets, Rings – You want to search for rings and amulets with either attack speed and life on hit, or critical hit chance and life on hit. If you can’t find any rings like that within your price range search for rings/amulets with attack speed or critical hit chance and dexterity and all resist, or dexterity and vitality.
Chest, Legs, Belt, Boots, Shoulders - You’re looking for items here with just the best stats you can find in dexterity, vitality, and either all resist or the specific resist you choose to stack. In the video I chose lightning just because one piece of armor I bought in the beginning had all resist and lightning resist.
Weapons - You want weapons with + critical hit chance and a socket, or +life on hit and a socket. That is the cheapest combination. Finding weapons with dexterity, vitality too is a bonus.
